  1. personally Bill Gates can say whatever he wants due to the fact that he is sitting on a goldmine because he is a billionaire and doesn't have to work another day in his life, so its easy for him to say that robots will take all of the jobs that require human labor in the future, not realizing that many people will be affected and the unemployment rate will sky rocket and everyone will be giant couch potatoes :(

  2. I believe that Bill Gates is over exaggerating about robots taking of the future in about 20 years. At some point it seems logical to me that this may happen but only in about 80-100 year when technology has fully become our whole lives. If Bill Gates is correct then I will personally find some sort of shelter or panic room to hide out in until all robot lose their battery or it gets dark and their environmentally friendly solar powers cant work. Also then the human race will become very lazy and out of jobs because robots will take them such as teaching and waiters.

  3. Both of you bring up good points. Rich people telling everyone else to worry about the future is tiresome. People love to make predictions and many of them never come to fruition. We are however seeing automation and robotics become more a part of daily life.

For thought: what are some of the benefits of robots over people? What are some of the negatives?
